Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 after she debuted her first album Age Ain't Nothing But A Number. In the age group of 15 the album was awarded Gold status. The collaboration was strongly influenced by R. Kelly, and helped put her on the map. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland released Aaliyah's second album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew the single that was most popular. Aaliyah achieved international recognition for her R&B singing with this album. In 2000, she was on the screen in Romeo Must Die, a romantic action film with Jet-Li. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the film Romeo Must Die spotted her during an awards event. In 2002 she got to play the horror film Queen of the Damned which was inspired by The Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her play Zee, after appearing as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. She received four Grammy nominations for 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is an Indian-American of her first generation, born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann originates from her husband's name Mankad. Mann employs Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar to refer to her official name. Her acting career started in the early 2000 with small appearances on television and in films. In addition to The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She's appeared in many commercials, including Volvo's global car maker. She currently lives at Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting career.
